CELESTE: A Wine Rooted in Love, Time, and Patience

Some things take longer than expected. This wine is one of them.

What started as a vision years ago, became a much longer journey than I ever anticipated. Between the shutdown, rising costs across the board, and the realities of production, this release took time. Bottle prices increased. Design and label work shifted. Timelines stretched.

But through all of that, one thing never changed: the meaning behind this wine.

CELESTE was born from love, loss, and the vibrant spirit of my sister, Kerstin.

Her creativity, warmth, and zest for life live on in the celestial image she designed, a reflection of the energy she brought into every moment. This bottle is more than a tribute; it’s an invitation to pause, connect, and celebrate the beauty in now.

Whether shared over laughter, stories, or quiet reflection, my hope is that this wine brings a little extra light to your table.

THE BACK STORY

A little history on this label. My youngest sister, Remy, who gets photo credit for this image ;) took this photo of Kerstin back in 2007. At that time there were no fancy apps or AI to create images. She put it on her computer and possibly on Adobe Illustrator (I could be mistaken). She played around with the image, editing it, and adjusting the colors. And this image is what she created. Kerstin was so talented, not only as a cook but also as an artist. 

Her back looks like the celestial sky and it's a reminder that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it transcends and shifts. Just like her. She is no longer physically her but she is with us in spirit. 

I want to continue to honor the life she had on this earth, as she's been an inspiration to keep going and keep pushing forward. We are not guaranteed tomorrow, next week or next year, so make the most of the time we have. 

RED BLEND

This wine is a red blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Garnacha, the same blend many of you loved in my previous release, G.O.A.T. It’s bold, balanced, and meant to be enjoyed in the moments that matter.

This release is a small production, which means availability will be limited. I’ll be sharing more details soon on how to purchase, but for now:
